Tripura

Poll bound Tripura’s law and order has failed completely alleged Vijay Sampla Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment on Monday.

Speaking to the media in Tripura, the Minister said, “There is no law and order in Marxist ruled Tripura. The poll-bound state witnessed seven murders in a span of three to four days and most of them belonging to SC community.”

Sampla claimed anarchy prevails in Tripura and although there were persistent efforts to suppress truth, it will prevail eventually.

“Since the law and order is a state subject, the Centre can’t intervene on the issue. But people are determined to bring a change to teach harsh lessons to the Marxist rulers in the Assembly elections”, he said.

“The BJP has been reaching out to the people with the message of prosperity and the state’s bright prospect. We do believe, people will give a befitting reply to the situation prevailing under Marxist regime”, he said.

The Minister also lamented over the State Government’s non-cooperation of welfare of people with disabilities. There are many schemes for them but little has been done to help them in this regard.

The Union Minister also feels addiction is a big challenge to India after terrorism. “The Ministry doesn’t only fund running of de-addiction centre’s it also releases money to run rehabilitation for de-addicted persons. Unfortunately, the state has not sent any proposal to receive such opportunity”, he alleged.

BJP state prabhari Sunil Deodhar, BJP MLA Dilip Sarkar and former MLA Ratan Lal Nath were present at the occassion.
