Tripura: Youth injured in wild bear attack in Gomati district

A youth in Tripura was injured in an attack by a wild bear.

The youth has been identified as Jiten Reang, who hails from Taidu in Gomati district.

As per information, Jiten and his brother Raikhomang went to the jungle to collect firewood on Saturday afternoon.

As they were busy collecting the firewood, the wile bear appeared from the dense forest and attacked Jiten.

Jiten was rescued by his brother and a few other youths who also went to the forest to collect firewood.

It may be mentioned here that bear attacks in Teliamura and its surrounding areas are very common.
