Roads across Dharmanagar in North Tripura bore a deserted look on Monday morning as people responded to state government’s three-day total lockdown call, announced to curb the spread of coronavirus in the state.

The lockdown, which began on Monday, will remain in effect till July 30 morning.

Other than emergency services rest everything will remain shut.

Vehicular traffic on the road was nil and only the vehicle in emergency duty was seen plying on the streets.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Biplab Deb urged the people to cooperate with the administration and the police during the lockdown period.
