Tripura schools will reopen for classes 1 to 5 from Monday onwards.

The decision was taken by the Tripura government after improvement in the COVID situation in the state.

However, a permission letter from the guardians or parents will be required for the students to attend classes.

Earlier, schools reopened for classes 6 to 12 on August 25 across Tripura.

An order was issued in this regard by the director of elementary education, Tripura.

According to the notification by the department of elementary education

Special importance will be given to students who are weak, drop outs or have been away from school from the very beginning of the session.

Mask wearing will be compulsory for students of classes 1 to 5.

Moreover, school administrations have been asked to adhere to all COVID-19 protocols.
