National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala Tripura is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in a CSIR project entitled “Development of an integrated process for co-production of biobutanol from sugarcane trash and lignin nanoparticles (LNPs) as green carrier for bactericidal agent” under the guidance of Dr. Kalyan Gayen, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering. The vision of the institute is to committed to develop highly competent young Engineers, Scientists, and Management Professionals to cater to the ever increasing techno-managerial needs of national and international standards fulfilling professional ethics and societal commitment. Its mission is to produce techno-managerial human resource in line with global need offering state-of-the-art facility, research and training in engineering and allied disciplines and enhance the effectiveness of technical education with innovative system and devising a mechanism to facilitate application of research findings to solve real problems of industries/academics.

Qualification :
B.S. 4 years programme/ B. Pharm /M.B.B.S/ Integrated B.S.-M.S./M.Sc/B.E./B. Tech or equivalent degree with 55% marks and passing of NET-LS/GATE test (as per CSIR-HRDG guidelines)
Desirable:
B. Tech / M. Tech in Chemical Engineering /Biotechnology / allied discipline or M.Sc in Chemistry/ Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Science background is encouraged to apply.
The selected candidate will also be eligible for the PhD program at NIT Agartala.
Fellowship : Rs. 37000/- per month
