National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala Tripura is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the research project funded by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India under the scheme Core Research Grant (CRG) entitled “Predictive control of RCCI engine performance and emission using Artificial Intelligence (AI).”

Qualification :
Post Graduate degree in basic science or Graduate/Post Graduate in professional course selected though a process described through anyone of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, ILESR, NISER etc.
Desirable:
a) 1st class in ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Thermal Science & Engineering/Automobile Engineering/Automotive Engineering/Renewable energy with a strong background in thermal science domain.
b) Candidates should also have experience in the computation and experimental fields related to the project with an exposure to artificial intelligence, numerical techniques and various machine learning tools including data analysis.
JRF is to execute the project by planning, experimentation, data analysis, responsibilities report and manuscript writing within specified time.
