Sensation prevails after the death of a girl from North Tripura in Bengaluru under suspicious circumstances.

The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Anjali Nath, daughter of Rasendra Nath, a resident of Sarala area under Kadamtala police station.

Reportedly, the Ranjani police station in Bengaluru handed over the body of the deceased to the family members of the deceased after conducting a post-mortem.

According to reports, Anjali Nath along with her younger sister 19-year-old Aparna Nath was working in hotels at Bengaluru.

Both of them were pursuing a Hotel Management course in the DDUGKY training centre.

Anjali had been working in a Marthalli Hotel at Karbangla in Bengaluru and her sister Aparna has been working in Nandana Grand Hotel for the last two years.

Like every other day, after finishing their shifts in the hotel, the duo sisters returned to their rented house on Friday night and then Anjali went out to have her dinner, but as she did not return home, her younger sister fell asleep.

The next morning, Aparna was shocked after receiving a call about her sister’s death.

She immediately reached the hospital four kilometres away from her rented house and identified the body of her sister.

Meanwhile, Panaji police have lodged a suicide case (No 116/2019) under the Indian Penal Code 174 of CRPC after the post-mortem was conducted.

Aparna could not talk further to the police as she was made to leave the spot in a hurry.

However, with the help of the hotel staff and Panaji police, she returned her home in Tripura with the body of her elder sister.

However, she expressed her dissatisfaction with the assumption of the Ranjani police.

She is confident that her elder sister cannot commit suicide and said the case is much more complex.

She further said no one would walk up to 4 km to commit suicide.

Aparna suspects that her sister was kidnapped and murdered later.

The family members have lodged an FIR with Kadamtala police station.

However, as the case falls under the jurisdiction of Ranjani police station in Bengaluru, the family members are doubtful that they would get justice.
