In a shocking incident, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped multiple times by her father during the last one year in Tripura’s Unokoti district.
The incident took place at Kailasahar area Unokoti district.
The survivor said that her father Gobinda Das, a small businessman, has raped her multiple times during the last one year.
The girl said that she had lost her mother few years back and her father subsequently got married to another woman.
Presently, he was living with his second wife and two sons.
Police have registered a case and started investigation into the incident.
Childline officials have also visited the residence of the minor girl to rescue her.
