A three-year-old child died after falling into a toilet hole on Sunday in Tripura.
The incident took place in the afternoon at Bishalgarh in the State.
The three-year-old son, Rafiqul Alam of Jalil Mian, a resident of Naraura Tilla of Bishalgarh was playing in the backyard of their house in the afternoon.
The people of the house did not get any response from Rafiqul for some time.
Not finding him in the backyard, they started searching for him.
His body was later found in a toilet hole.
There was a water storage hole outside the toilet of the house.
The water in the toilet used to fall there.
Personnel of Bishalgarh Fire Service rushed to the spot and recovered the body of the child.
Later the child was taken to the Bishalgarh hospital.
But doctors there said the child was brought dead.
An autopsy will be conducted on Monday.
