The session of the TTAADC was scheduled to start at 11 am on Monday but owing to late arrival of the members of the council the session had to start at 12 am.

The start of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) session was on Monday delayed for an hour due to late arrival of the members.

Council sources said the one-day session of the TTAADC was scheduled to start at 11 am on Monday but owing to late arrival of the members of the council the session had to start at 12 am.

“The session had to start at 12 am, one hour late from the scheduled time, as no one except the executive members and the chairman arrived at the house at 11 am,” said an official of the council.

Most of the members turned up at the house around 11.50 am.

This is the first time since the formation of the ADC that the house was not started on time due to the absence of members.

The members later informed the house that absence security personnel forced them to reach the house late.
