At least five districts of Tripura are reeling under flood waters due to unprecedented incessant rainfall since Saturday.
Among the total five districts affected due to flood water, the worst affected is the West Tripura district.

Meantime, one person has reported to have been died due to drowning in South Tripura district.
Meanwhile, state chief minister, Biplab Kumar Deb is constantly monitoring the situation of flood relief work in the State.
He has also directed all key agencies to monitor and assist in the flood relief work being undertaken in the State.
In capital Agartala, 165.4mm rainfall has been recorded till 12 pm on Sunday. Indian Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall in coming two days.
All total 3934 persons of 1185 families have been affected and 28 relief camps opened by the state government in two districts – West Tripura and Khowai districts.
Other three affected districts are Sepahijala, South Tripura and Gomati which have been partly affected.
In West Tripura district the Howrah river is flowing above the danger level at 10.73mtr (danger level 10.50 mtr).
Major places in Agartala Municipal Corporation area have been inundated with areas like Pratapgarh, Srilankabasti, Banamalipur, Shibnagar, Rishi Colony, Paradise Chowmuhani, RMS Chowmuhani, Bidurkarta Chowmuhani, Chandrapur being severely affected.
Locals along with the district administration mounted rescue and evacuation operations and managed to protect lives of affected people.
There has been mobilization of manpower, boats and other equipments from District Administration, NDRF, TSR, Assam Rifles for effective rescue operations.
