Healthcare worker doing door-to-door survey in North Tripura

The first phase of door-to-door antigen testing for the detection of COVID-19 began in Tripura on Monday.

In Sanichara area in North Tripura under Dharmanagar subdivision, it was witnessed that healthcare workers visited the different house and enquired about the health condition of the family numbers.

They further collected their contact numbers and ROR number and further advised them to report to the nearest PHC’s if they develop any kind of symptoms.

Those having fever and display other symptoms will be tested for coronavirus.

It may be mentioned here that along with the door-to-door antigen testing, the Tripura government from the next week will also test every passenger coming into the state for COVID-19.
