The cyber crime branch of Tripura Police brought four suspected ATM hackers to Agartala on Wednesday night from Kolkata.

They were brought by Kanchanjangha Express from Kolkata to Agartala.

On Wednesday Last night at around 11 pm the four ATM hackers landed at Agartala rail station.

A group of Tripura police went to Kolkata few days back to bing them back.

Notably, in the month of November several ATM hacking incidents took place in the state.

Lastly four hackers were nabbed by the Kolkata police at Belgharia on November 9 last.

Among the four hackers two are from Turkey and two are from Bangladesh.

Kolkata police carried out a raid on a hideout in the Belgharia area and nabbed two Turkish hackers, Hakan Zanburkan and Fettah Aldemir, on November 18 last.

Following their interrogation, the police also detained two Bangladeshi nationals, Mohammed Hannan and Mohammed Rafiqul Islam.

The hackers are suspected to be involved in the hacking of ATM accounts and fraudulently withdrawal of money in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Dehradun, Kolkata, Guwahati and Agartala.

Guwahati police also circulated look out notice against these two Turkish hackers.

The four arrested hackers will be produce to court on Thursday and asked for 15 days police remand.

According to cyber crime branch, the hackers used ‘Skimmer Device’ to know the ATM Pin numbers and customers ATM card details.
