AGARTALA: Assam Rifles, acting on credible information, confiscated 620 kilograms of marijuana (ganja) valued at Rs 2.8 crore in Tripura.
The ganja consignment was seized from a warehouse located at Hezamara in West Tripura district of Tripura on Friday (March 15).
This operation was conducted jointly by Assam Rifles and the Tripura customs department.
The seized ganja has been handed over to the Tripura customs department for continued investigation and legal proceedings.
