A total of 93 COVID19 patients including 30 BSF personnel have been discharged in Tripura on Tuesday after they tested negative for the virus.

The 30 Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have been discharged from the Dedicated Covid Health Center at the Composite Hospital BSF in Salbagan.

Sharing an image of the discharged BSF personnel on his Twitter handle, Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Tuesday said: 30 BSF personnel have been discharged from Dedicated Covid Health Center, Composite Hospital BSF, Salbagan after their test results came NEGATIVE.”

The chief minister also said the Border Security Force has joined the Tripura government in their fight against the COVID19 pandemic.

“BSF is working hand in hand along with State Govt to make Tripura COVID19 free. Together we shall overcome,” chief minister Deb tweeted at 7.07 pm on Tuesday

In an earlier tweet at 6.58 pm on Tuesday, chief minister Deb informed about discharge of 63 COVID19 patients after they tested negative.

The COVID19 patients were undergoing treatment in various district Covid Care Centres (CCCs), the chief minister informed.

“Good News Thumbs up. I am happy to share that 63 COVID-19 patients have been discharged today from various District CCCs after their test results came NEGATIVE.”

“I pray for the speedy recovery of all the COVID-19 patients,” he added.
