Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb extended his best wishes to Narendra Modi after he took the oath of office and secrecy as the 15th Prime Minister of the country on Thursday evening.

Deb also congratulated former union minister of state for Home, Kiren Rijiju, who was once again inducted into the Narendra Modi Cabinet 2.0 as minister of state.

He wished that Modi in his second term as the Prime Minister takes India to greater heights so that it becomes the leading nation in the world.

Deb wished Modi luck for his prestigious post by taking the name of Goddess Tripurasundari.

Deb congratulated Rijiju by stating on Twitter:

Rijiju thanked Deb by saying that they will work for development of Tripura and the entire northeastern region under the guidance of Narendra Modi.

Rijiju tweeted:

‘Thank you @BjpBiplab ji for your warm wishes. Together we will work for Tripura and North-East and transform the region under the guidance and blessings of PM @narendramodi ji.’

BJP won the Tripura West and the Tripura East Lok Sabha seats in the state of Tripura in this year’s Lok Sabha elections.

Pratima Bhoumik who contested from the Tripura West seat won it by a total of 573532 votes.

Rebati Tripura who contested from the Tripura East seat won it by a total of 482126 votes.
