Swacch Bharat Run to be flagged off on January 7 in Guwahati

Swacch Bharat Run, a social initiative in the line with Swacch Bharat Abhiyan will be flagged off from Guwahati on January 7 from Guwahati. The Run is organised in the State by Leisure Sports Management in association with Tipkai, an NGO, an official statement said.

The Run will be also organised in Dibrugarh on January14, in Jorhat on January 21, in Tezpur on January 28 and in Silchar on February 4, it said.

The Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare, Assam along with some other Departments are providing logistic and other support for successful organisation of the Run.
