Rajya Sabha MP Dr Subramanian Swamy while addressing the media at Agartala in Tripura viewed that the theory of alleged death of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose in a plane crash on August 18, 1945 in Japan should have a fresh investigation considering the all previous commission reports.

Referring an affidavit submitted by one Shyam Lal Jain of Meerut who was a stenographer of Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr Swamy said that he has every reason and which proves that Subash Bose did not die due in a plane crash in Japan rather he was in the custody of Soviet revolutionary leader Joseph Stalin.

According to him, Stalin had informed this to Jawaharlal Nehru and asked what he should do with Bose but Nehru instead of helping Subash Chandra Bose had passed the information to Clement Attlee, the then Britain Prime Minister and for whom Bose was a declared war criminal and always wanted to kill him as because of him they had to leave India.

Dr Swami stressed upon a fresh investigation into the death of Netaji Subash Bose and for which the Narendra Modi government should ask the British government to allow the British museum and archive to be opened for an inspection.

He also felt that along with Britain the India government should also request the Russia President Vladimir Putin to help in the new investigation by opening the Russian secret files and archive on Subash Bose.
