To promote the Neo-Vaishnavite movement, the Banglore unit of Sreemnata Sankardeva Cultural Society on Sunday inaugurated a Namghar in the Garden City.
The temporary Namghar was inaugurated by social activist T. Vijay Kumar Reddy at Maruthi Nagar, Chennappa Layout, Chinnapanna Halli in the city.
The Cultural Society in September last year organized a Bhaona as a part of Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebration.
“Kansa Badh” Bhaona was performed by invited artists from Assam’s Habiborongabari in Morigaon district.
