Sikkim mountain bikers leave for national championship

Two mountain bikers from Sikkim have left on Monday to participate in the 16th National Mountain Bike Championship 2019-20 to be held from 20 to 22 February at Haldwani, Uttarakhand.

Sikkimese mountain bikers, Asim Sharma is representing the State in senior category and Aniket Sharma in junior category of cross-country event in the championship.

In a see-off programme held on Monday in Gangtok, secretary to Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Kuber Bhandari has expressed best wishes to the duo by offering khadas and encouraged them to give their best to shine the name of Sikkim in the national level.
