Sikkim, on Sunday, logged 155 new COVID-19 cases and three more related deaths, a health department bulletin stated.   

The new cases took Sikkim’s overall caseload up to 23,392.   

Of the new cases detected in Sikkim, 64 were detected in East Sikkim district, 38 in West Sikkim and 53 in South Sikkim.    

The Himalayan state currently has 2308 active cases.

Meanwhile, three more deaths took the State’s COVID-19 death toll up to 324.  

These new cases in Sikkim have been detected after testing 931 samples.       

The new cases in Sikkim have been detected at a positivity rate of 16.6%.     

20,498 people in the State so far have recovered from the disease.

Meanwhile, 262 coronavirus-positive patients have migrated to other states.   

Sikkim’s recovery rate currently stands at 88.6 per cent.
