The Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) government is mulling a central bureau of investigation (CBI) probe into the corruption allegations against the previous Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) regime.

This was informed by Sikkim chief minister PS Tamang.

The Sikkim CM said that his government will invite the CBI to probe the allegations of corruption against the previous Pawan Chamling-led SDF government.

“We will invite the CBI to probe the allegations. Corruption of the previous SDF government will be there for everybody to see,” Sikkim CM PS Tamang said.

Tamang further said that he will ‘expose’ the SDF on February 4, 2022 on the occasion of SKM’s foundation day.

“Come February 4, 2022, I will expose the previous SDF government,” he said.
