Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) party has hit back and condemned the allegation of Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) party that SKM party has been spreading terrorism in the State.
The ruling SKM party asserted that SKM has not been terrorizing anyone and this was an attempt of SDF party to created fear in the people and to defame SKM party.

A SKM press release stated that SDF party has totally misinterpreted the political statement of the minister Sanjit Kharel and placed to the people.
The release added that SDF party has been making big issue from a small matter. SKM stated that it was really surprising that how SDF spokespersons have forgotten the threatening speeches of Pawan Chamling on oppositions while SDF was in the power.
The release alleged that the political terrorism was not started by SKM, but it was started around 27 years back by SDF party in the State and to attack on press, political murders, illicit accusation and anonymous leaflets were common acts in SDF government.
The release stated that SKM government has taken up various people-centric programmes within one month of the government formation in the State and suggested SDF leaders not to get panic and to see those works of SKM government in these five years which were not able to done by SDF in last 25 years.
The release informed that SKM government has started to enhance wages of MGNREGA and it was the victory of poor people of Sikkim.
The release alleged that SDF party has failed to give respect to scheduled caste community in last 25 years and added that SKM government would make laws to provide protection and respect of SC community.
