Indian Army unit of Red Horns Division, were involved in renovation and repair work of LP school in village Alinagar, in Kokrajhar district.
Torrential rains combined with hailstorms had damaged the thatched roof of the local school at Alinagar, exposing the students to the fury of mother nature.
The locals approached the Army for help and the troops of Red Horns Division started renovation and repair of the school from May 8 and completed it swiftly within two days.
The new roof will now provide all the students of the school protection from the nature. The elders of Alinagar village as well as the students thanked the troops with all their heart.
