India’s leading telecom operators Bharti Airtel and Vodafone have removed cap from free outgoing calls to other networks under its new pre-paid plans that came into effect from December 3 last.
The companies had earlier provided 1000 minutes of free talk time with 28 day validity plan, 3000 minutes with 84 days validity plan and 12000 minutes with 365 days validity plan.
However, customers were required to pay six paise per minute for outgoing calls to other networks if the prescribed time limit of the pre-paid plans were over.
In a tweet, Bharti Airtel stated, “We heard you! And we are making the change. From tomorrow, enjoy unlimited calling to any network in India with all our unlimited plans. No conditions apply.”

Vodafone also made a similar announcement in its Twitter handle.
It tweeted:
‘Here’s to unlimited possibilities with free unlimited calling, even to other networks.’
It may be mentioned that Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Reliance Jio had earlier announced its decision to increase the price of its prepaid plans up to 40 per cent.
