Markazul Ma’ Arif, an NGO distributed ‘Ramadan Aid’ – a food kit among the economically backward Islamic people in Hojai district to mark the holy month of Ramadan or Ramazan on Tuesday.
Samshul Haque Choudhary is the President of the NGO whereas Khalilur Rahman Laskar is the Secretary.
In a press release the NGO stated, that around 44000 families across the State would be benefitted by the NGO’s initiative across the State which will include 5000 kits in Kokrajhar, 1000 in Golaganj, 2000 in Goalpara Purb and Pachim, 1000 in Jaleshwar, 7000 in Nagaon and Morigaon District, 6000 in Lakhimpur, Nawbacha, Shipajhar, Dalgaon, Balunnii, Dibrugarh, Sibsagar, Tinsukia, Golaghat and 5000 families in Hojai District.
The Secretary of the NGO Khalilur Rahman Laskar said, “Our Mission is to provide the food items to the genuine needy families and accordingly our team is distributing the food items.”
The NGO Markazul Ma’ Arif is located in Hojai district has been engaged in such activities for the upliftment of society since its inception.
The NGO has branches in Mumbai and Delhi.
