The tallest Naga girl, C. Thsarubla Sangtam, has been baptised.

Thsarubla was baptised by Pastor Lemching of Konyak Baptist Church at Mokokchung.

Thsarubla was born on October 15, 1999 to J Chokhase Sangtam and Rebecca Sangtam in Longkhim sub-division under Tuensang district.

Her family shifted to Mokokchung town under Mokokchung district of Nagaland when Thsarubla was only a month old.

She is now a resident of Salangtem Ward in the town.

The 21-year-old Naga girl’s father is a daily wage earner and mother is a homemaker, says a media report.

Thsarubla’s growth started only at the age of 10.

According to the report, Thsarubla has been suffering from a rare disease called Acromegaly, which is a serious condition that occurs when the body produces excessive hormones and this led to her massive growth.
