Nagaland records 2 Covid deaths, 80 new cases

Nagaland recorded two Covid deaths and 80 new cases on Thursday. There were 82 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

The Health and Family Welfare Department said one person each in Dimapur and Kohima died of the infection.

Among the 80 fresh positive cases, Dimapur reported 29, Kiphire 1, Kohima 21, Longleng 7, Mokokchung 18, Peren 2, Wokha 1 and Zunheboto 1.

Of the 82 recoveries, Dimapur registered 17, Kohima 37, Longleng 1, Mokokchung 20, Mon 1, Peren 3, Phek 2 and Wokha 1.

The total caseload in the State stands at 28,955 and the active cases at 1,347. So far, 579 people have died of the infection while 26,183 have recovered. Altogether 832 people migrated from the State.
