The security forces in Nagaland are facing the brunt of a botched counter-insurgency operation by commandos of para special forces.
Videos are doing the rounds in social media, where locals in Kohima – the capital of Nagaland – asking personnel of armed forces to ‘go back’.
One of such videos shared by journalist Vijaita Singh, shows how personnel of armed forces being asked to ‘go back’ by locals in Kohima.

At least 13 coal miners from Oting village in Nagaland’s Mon district were gunned down by security forces as a counter-insurgency operation went horribly wrong.
On Sunday, one more civilian was killed in firing by the Assam Rifles when an angry mob stormed into their camp in Mon town and set a part of their camp on fire.
The official civilian death toll in the Nagaland firing incident and related retaliatory rioting stands at 14.
Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio has termed the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) as a draconian law.
“AFSPA is a draconian law, which is condemned worldwide,” Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio said.
Meanwhile, another video, which is doing the rounds in the social media is purportedly of those innocent civilians who were gunned down by the para commandos at Oting village in Mon district of Nagaland.
The video, which is believed to be shot just a day before the firing incident, shows the youths who were killed in the firing, enjoying the evening.
