Dimapur: Nagaland received the prestigious Agriculture Leadership Award 2024 in the category of Best State in Horticulture.
The award was given to the state for its outstanding work in introducing innovative programmes and policies for horticulture development, which has positively touched the lives of a large number of farmers and the rural people in Nagaland.
Nagaland minister for women resource development and horticulture Salhoutuonuo Kruse received the award on behalf of the state at the 15th Agriculture Leadership Conclave held in New Delhi.
Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari and Union minister agriculture and farmers welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan were present on the ocassion.
