Covid-19 vaccination drive for people of 45 years and above got underway at Naga Hospital Authority KohimaThursday.
Senior Nagaland Government officials, including Chief Secretary J Alam and his wife, were among the first to get the vaccination shot. Many residents of Kohima also turned up to get themselves vaccinated.
There are two vaccination centres in Kohima, one at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima and the other at Urban Health Centre at Seikhazou which will be in operation from April 5 to April 15.
All necessary SOPs and observation time will be strictly maintained, an official said.
