Nagaland registered 21 new COVID-19 positive cases on Wednesday.

These new cases are among the 199 samples tested on Tuesday.

Among them, 10 are from Peren quarantine centre, eight from Phek quarantine centre, two from Kohima quarantine centre and one from Dimapur quarantine centre.

This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom through his official Twitter handle on Wednesday.

As on Wednesday, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in the State stands at 480.

However, there are 312 active cases in the State at present.

A total of 168 persons have so far recovered from the deadly coronavirus.

The State has not witnessed any COVID-19 related deaths so far.
