Nagaland registered 11 fresh cases of COVID-19 positive on Tuesday.

They are among the 313 samples tested on Monday.

With these new cases, the total of COVID-19 cases in the State has gone up to 636.

This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom through his official Twitter handle.

Phom tweeted:

‘Update!

Out of 313 samples tested, 11 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed.

10 from Mon & 1 from Kohima.

Total State status as of 11: 50 AM, 7th July, 2020.

Positive       : 636

Active          : 393

Recovered  : 243’

Among these 11 new cases, 10 are from Mon district while one is from Kohima.

However, the State has at present 393 active cases.

A total of 243 persons have already recovered from the deadly disease.

The State has not witnessed any COVID-19 related deaths so far.
