Seven more people test COVID-19 positive in Nagaland.

With this total number of COVID-19 cases in the State has gone up to 43.

Among the seven new cases, four are from Kohima while three are from Dimapur.

The seven new patients include four women and three men.

All of them have returned from Chennai recently.

Informing this state health minister S Pangnyu Phom tweeted on Sunday morning:

‘Update: Out of 92 samples tested, 4 Female & 3 Male, all returnees from Chennai has tested COVID19 +ve. 4 at Kohima & 3 at Dimapur.

As on: 7:25 am, 31st May, we have 43 active cases.’

Earlier, on Saturday 11 others tested COVID-19 positive

Of these 11 patients, 9 are males and 2 are females and they had recently returned from Chennai.

Eight of the 11 patients were in Dimapur and three were in Kohima.
