Five more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Nagaland taking the state’s total tally of active cases to 25.
This was informed by Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom through his official Twitter handle early Friday morning.
Phom tweeted:
‘Alert! 5 more tested positive of COVID19. 1 at Dimapur & 4 at Kohima. All returnees from Chennai. Nagaland stand at 25 as on 7:20 am of 29/05/2020.’
The new cases include one from Dimapur and four from Kohima.
All of them have returned from Chennai recently.
Earlier on Thursday, nine persons had tested positive for COVID-19 in the State.
