The Nagaland government on Sunday said all the existing guidelines with regard to the lockdown in all parts of the state issued on May 4 will continue to remain operative till issuance of fresh guidelines.
Chief secretary Temjen Toy issued an order in this regard.
Toy also conducted a video conference meeting with all the deputy commissioners, superintendents of police and the chief medical officers of the 11 districts of the state on Sunday.
The chief secretary deliberated on the quarantine arrangements being made for the stranded citizens of the state returning from other states and all the protocols that need to be followed.
In his briefing on the Covid-19 situation in the state, principal secretary (home) Abhijit Sinha said as many 4,095 citizens, who are presently outside the state, have opted to stay back at their respective places.
They have filled up the required form on the portal iamstranded.nagaland.gov.in for availing the one-time assistance of Rs 10,000 provided by the government.
The facility for applying for the same closed at 7pm on Saturday, he said.
Sinha said altogether 1,382 stranded persons have already arrived in the state from other states till Sunday.
He said as of 4pm on Sunday, 952 samples were sent for testing from the state.
The results of 914 samples have been received and all tested negative.
The results for the remaining 38 samples are awaited.
A total of 3,004 persons were screened on Sunday and 1,406 persons are under facility quarantine in the state.
Sinha added that altogether 759 persons are currently being monitored through the nCOVID-19 Nagaland- Visitors App.
Joint secretary Hiazu Meru said two violations of the lockdown were reported on Sunday and six people were bound down.
However, no Law and order incident has been reported in any part of the state.
