The NSCN (I-M) held a consultative meeting with the Lotha Hoho and its district units in Dimapur of Nagaland on Saturday.

The meeting was held to share and understand the political issue at hand so that the Nagas would harvest the deserving national aspirations.

During the course of the meeting the Lotha Hoho reiterated that the hoho was ‘with the GPRN and will be with the Naga nation now and ever’.

At the meeting, participants elaborated on the uniqueness of Naga history and the cause of the Naga struggle from inception till India officially recognized the uniqueness of the Naga history, which was also in the principle of the Framework Agreement, signed between NSCN (I-M) and the Government of India on August 3, 2015.

The meeting asserted that every Naga was equally responsible for bringing about an honourable solution and that every Naga was also equally welcome to be a part of the final solution, which is expected soon.

While appreciating the hoho, the NSCN-IM stated that the Framework Agreement was not an ‘ordinary agreement but a covenant’ to settle the political issue of the two entities honourably.

The GPRN, it is learnt also praised the Lotha Hoho and its collective social leaders, comprising of intellectuals with practical wisdom, to build the Naga nation.
