The Naga Students Union, Delhi (NSUD) on Saturday staged a poster campaign under the slogan ‘Naga solution before election’ at Connaught Place in New Delhi.
In an address to the participants at the campaign site, the president of the NSUD, Herangia Zeliang said it is right time that the Nagas realize what they actually want.
“Nagas should strive for one common goal, for which unity is the need of the hour,” he stated.
He further said negotiations between the Central Government have and various stakeholders on board for the past 21 years with immense support from Naga civil organizations across the state.
“It is high time that the Naga political parties come together leaving aside their political interests to strive for the greater interest of the people of Nagaland,” he added.
A sizeable number of Naga citizens residing in the national capital converged at Connaught Place to extend support for a Naga solution before holding the Assembly elections.
