Mizoram has reported 302 new Covid19 positive cases on Friday.
According to the latest Covid19 bulletin, released by the department of information and public relations (DIPR), Mizoram, with the new cases the state’s positive tally increased to 16,437 on Friday.
Till Friday, a total of 12,630 people have recovered from the deadly disease.
On Thursday, a total of 216 people were discharged after their recovery from the disease, said sources.
Mizoram currently has a total of 3,732 active Covid19 cases.
The deadly disease has claimed the lives of 72 patients in Mizoram so far.
Mizoram reported no death on Friday till filing of this report.
According to the data shared by the DIPR, Mizoram, of the new 302 cases reported in the state on Friday, 109 were confirmed during RTP-CR tests at Zoram Medical College (ZMC), 183 were confirmed during Rapid Antigen Tests while 10 cases were detected during TrueNat tests.
Mizoram’s Covid19 positivity rate stood at 6.87%
On Thursday, India reported 67,208 daily new cases, the Union health ministry said.
A total of 2,84,91,670 patients recovered across the country till date while 1,03,570 patients recovered on Thursday.
India’s daily recoveries continued to outnumber daily new cases for 35th consecutive day.
The recovery rate increased to 95.93% while the daily positivity rate stood at 3.48% on Thursday.
