Mizoram reported 1 more death due to Covid19 infection and 1,846 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
With the death of 1 more patient, Mizoram’s Covid19 death toll increased to 302 on Tuesday.
Mizoram so far has reported a total of 90,539 Covid19 positive cases.
Of the new cases, 473 cases were found positive during RT-PCR test, 60 in TrueNAT test, 1,271 during RAgT test and 22 were found positive during FIA test.
The positivity rate stood at 19.44% on Tuesday.
According to the health bulletin updated by the department of information and public relations, Mizoram at 5 pm on Monday, a total of 733 patients recovered from the deadly infection.
Of the recoveries, the Aizawl district recorded 476, Serchhip-76, Mamit-70, Kolasib-54, Lawngtlai-35, Lunglei-9, Champhai-7 and Hnahthial recorded 6 recoveries.
The recovery rate stood at 86.71%.
Mizoram so far has recorded a total of 74,394 recoveries.
Mizoram currently has a total of 15,843 active Covid19 cases.
