Mizoram has registered one more COVID19 death in the last 24 hours taking the death toll in the state to 10.

This has been confirmed by the Mizoram health department.

According to sources, an 82-year-old man succumbed to COVID19 infection at Zoram Medical College (ZMC) near Aizawl.

As per the latest COVID19 bulletin, released by the directorate of information and public relations (DIPR), Mizoram has so far recorded a total of 4,392 COVID19 positive cases.

Out of the total cases registered in the state, a total of 4,366 patients have been discharged after their recovery.

Mizoram currently has 16 COVID19 positive cases.

In the last 24 hours, Mizoram recorded no new COVID19 positive case.

Meanwhile, Mizoram has reportedly in the 5th rank among Indian states in vaccinating the highest number of persons for COVID19.

The state has received over 30,400 Covid vaccines for the frontline workers.
