Five more people died of Covid19 infection in the last 24 years in Mizoram, taking the death toll to 363.
On Tuesday, a total of 1,430 new positive cases were recorded in Mizoram.
The positivity rate stood at 15.18% on Tuesday.
While 321 cases were found positive during RT-PCR test, 77 cases were detected positive during TrueNAT test, 1,002 in RAgT test and 30 cases were found positive during FIA test.
With these cases, Mizoram has so far registered 107,566 positive cases so far.
Mizoram currently has a total of 14,381 active Covid19 cases.

Of the total active cases in Mizoram, Aizawl district has 9,556 cases, Lunglei – 1,201, Siaha – 607, Champhai – 883, Kolasib – 449, Serchhip – 541, Lawngtlai – 597, Mamit – 383, Khawzawl – 38, Hnahthial – 88 and Saitual has 38 active cases.
According to the health bulletin released by the directorate of information & public relations, Mizoram, at 5 pm on Monday, a total of 885 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
Of the new recoveries, Aizawl district recorded 618 recoveries, Siaha-96, Mamit-67, Lunglei-43, Lawngtlai-25, Champhai-17, Kolasib-10 and Saitual district recorded 9 recoveries.
With the new recoveries, a total of 92,822 people have recovered from the deadly infection and the recovery rate stood at 84.08%.
On Monday, 2 people died of Covid19 infection.
Mizoram reported 307 new Covid19 positive cases.
The positivity rate of Mizoram stood at 26.64% on Monday.
