A total of 24 more Covid19 patients have recovered from the disease in Mizoram on Tuesday.
Mizoram on Tuesday registered 9 new Covid19 patients, taking the state’s total tally to 4,049.
The total Covid19 cases registered in Mizoram so far include 2,979 males and 1070 females.
Of the new cases, 5 cases were detected at Zoram Medical College (ZMC) during RT-PCR tests while 1 cases was detected during TrueNAT test and 3 cases were found positive during Rapid Antigen Test, said the directorate of information and public relations (DIPR), Mizoram.
With the recovery of 24 more patients, a total of 3,893 people have been discharged in Mizoram after their recovery from the disease so far
The recovery rate stands at 96.14%.
Mizoram currently has 149 active Covid19 cases.
The deadly disease has claimed the lives of 7 people in Mizoram so far.
India registered 22,065 new Covid19 cases in the last 24 hours, Union health ministry’s dashboard showed on Tuesday.
With this, the nationwide Covid19 tally has reached 99,06,165.
