St. Anthony’s College is an educational institution of the Catholic Church, belonging to and managed altogether by the Salesians of Don Bosco Educational Society (Registered under the society’s act of 1890: No: 227/91 of 199). It is affiliated to North Eastern Hill University. The College has also been reaccredited with “A” grade by NAAC in 2088 with CGPA of 3.60/4.0, making the college the highest graded in the East and North East of the Country. Essential Qualifications:
- Consistently good academic record as defined by the University with at least 55% marks (General Candidate) and 50% (SC/ST candidates) or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading is followed at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET), conducted by the UGC like the SLET/SET
Desirable:
- Candidates who have obtained PhD in the subject and have research publications.
- Candidates who have had a teaching experience.
