Air Force School (AFS) Upper Shillong Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Nursery Trained Teacher. Air Force School, Upper Shillong, is a Primary School functioning since 01 July 1971. The School was altogether registered with the IAF Educational and Cultural Society in the year 2003. The School also caters to the educational needs of children of personnel serving in HQ EAC IAF, HQ EAC [U], DSI (EZ), 792 SU , 21 P and SU , MES, CE [AF] and civilian population of surrounding villages. The school shifted to its current location in February 2004

Essential Qualifications :
Senior Secondary with Nursery Teachers Training/ diploma or diploma in Nursery/Montessori/Pre-Primary Teachers Training
Candidates may also possess a Diploma in Elementary Education from a Govt recognised institution.
Candidates with higher qualifications may also apply
Preference is to be given to candidates with diploma in Nursery/Montessori Training
Age Limit :
Should be in the age group of 21 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year in which the post is being filled
Salary : Rs. 12500/- approx. per month
