Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has thrown himself on a hectic campaigning trail ahead of the upcoming GHADC elections in the State.

CM Conrad Sangma was seen campaigning for the NPP (National People’s Party) candidates, who are in fray for the GHADC (Garo Hills Autonomous District Council) elections.

Large number of people have turned up for the election rallies addressed by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.

Conrad Sangma has expressed hope that NPP will put up a good show in the upcoming GHADC elections.

“It is nice to re-connect with people and bring them together in support of our party and candidate,” CM Conrad Sangma said.

“NPP has made various attempts to reform GHADC and we will carry on with it. Undoing the mess is a mammoth task but we will empower it so it can be self-sustaining,” added Conrad Sangma.
