Five more patients recovered in Meghalaya on Sunday morning, taking the states overall recovered tally to 37.
In a tweet, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said, “5 more persons have recovered and test negative for COVID19. Total cases: 44 Total Active cases: 6 Recovered: 37.”

So far, one person has succumbed to coronavirus infection in the state.
Coronavirus cases are increasing at a rapid rate in the northeast and Assam with over 5,000 cases tops the chart.
Over 1000 persons have also tested positive for coronavirus in Tripura.
