Hameshaniah Suiam won the title in the 57kg category at the WAKO India National Kickboxing Federation Cup. The championship was held in New Delhi on Saturday.
Suiam is currently ranked at number 5 in the world at kickboxing. He has won this title for the fifth consecutive time this year.
The martial arts athlete from Meghalaya has been continuing to bring honour to the state. Martial arts has been shown little importance not only in the state but across the country, passion for the sport fuels these young sportspersond to bring laurels to the state.
