Imphal: India’s Chitrakanan Singh Thoudam, (from Manipur) emerged as 2nd runner-up in the Mister Universe Tourism Pageant 2024 held in Bali, Indonesia.
Taiwan’s Chien Yu Chen has won the coveted title for Mister Universe Tourism 2024, whereas the first runners-up went to the Philippines and the second runners-up from Manipur (India).
Cebu’s Larz Kent Dawson who represented the Philippines in Mister Universe Tourism was first runner-up in the pageant’s 2024 edition.
The second runner-up, India’s Chitrakanan Singh Thoudam, (from Manipur) was most photogenic.
Hailing from Khurai Lairiklengbam Leikai in Imphal East district, Chitrakanan is working in a private company in Imphal.
He completed a Diploma in Veterinary Science. Reports said that after taking the prestigious second runners-up position in Bali, he reached Kathmandu (Nepal) on Monday to take part in another international competition.
The finals were held in Bali, Indonesia from March 14–26, 2024.
The grand finale was held at the Fashion Hotel Legian on March 24, 2024.
The event showcased beauty, talent, and intelligence, with contestants from around the world competing for the title.
According to the pageant’s Facebook page, Ster Universe Tourism promotes tourism through digital marketing in the new normal era, Manix Genabe, CEO of Borgen Entertainment Ventures Company and the Mister Universe Tourism trademark is the owner who organized the pageant.
