Manipur has reported two more deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, official sources said in Imphal.
The cumulative number of virus deaths in the State has now touched 189.
In the last 24 hours, two persons from Kamjong and Thoubal expired at RIMS hospital, a press release said.
In the past 24 hours, 207 persons from general population and 15 personnel from Central armed police force were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases.
The new COVID-19 cases were confirmed at 22 testing facilities in the state.
A total of 132 persons were discharged from 13 COVID care facilities in the past 24 hours, it added.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 19,725 while the numbers of active and recovered cases are 3,786 and 15,750 respectively, it added. The recovery rate is 79.84 per cent.
